Would a ground rod clamp fit over overlapping wire and motor lug ? $7 at Ace hardware, etc OR, something similar - like 4 gauge wire line splice ? (sleeve or block with screws each end)That might work; at the moment though I have a lot of other things to do so it's going to sit. Realized I can't weld it as the bolt is insulated from the body; and clamping to the other bolt will just cause the motor to run. Oh well.
They're not; but the amount sticking out past the bolt is very minimal. I did try a cutting wheel, but it won't fit in the space between the motor/stud and the wall of the blower. So yeah, stuck.are threads on motor stud damaged ?
