Re: (ET) Plows suck for snow (dead blower)-broken wire

Would a ground rod clamp fit over overlapping wire and motor lug ? $7 at Ace hardware, etc

OR, something similar - like 4 gauge wire line splice ? (sleeve or block with screws each end)

are threads on motor stud damaged ?

definitely want thin open end wrench to hold that lower nut (but you already knew that).

I had to make (easy, via band saw & drill) a new motor armature stud insulator from special thick layered fiberglas (like FR4 circuit board material, but 1/2" thick), after original plastic was damaged.

The fiberglas  version is MUCH stronger than OEM.

Any ideas? I do have the welder and welding the wire to the motor lug is a desperate but possible move. Is it possible to get a new bolt when I tear down the motor in the spring?

Welders cover up many sins.....ele
