OR, something similar - like 4 gauge wire line splice ? (sleeve or block with screws each end)
are threads on motor stud damaged ?definitely want thin open end wrench to hold that lower nut (but you already knew that).
I had to make (easy, via band saw & drill) a new motor armature stud insulator from special thick layered fiberglas (like FR4 circuit board material, but 1/2" thick), after original plastic was damaged.
