That would be pretty close to a deal-breaker for me.  If the vendor won't 
supply spare parts and you have to keep parts machines in the shed, it 
might as well be a relatively cheap, ancient, long-discontinued machine 
... 
like certain other electric tractors we know.

BTW, in most if not all of the EU, that would be illegal.  Spares *have* 
to 
be made available for machinery in that price class.

Convert to generic Chinese LiFePO4?  I dunno; I haven't looked at prices 
and availability lately.  Maybe that's no longer an affordable option in 
the US with the tariffs y'all have now.

I will say that the Alltrax PWM controller turned my E15 into a civilized 
machine.  I could move it by the centimeter in D1.  It also banished 
forever the reversing relay hassles.

But like yours, neither E15 nor the R36 rider was able to negotiate mowing 
the bank in front of my house sideways.  I had to do that part with a push 
mower.
