Re: (ET) NEED E-15 Traction motor profile to program Sepex controller (1268)

Hi David,

Thank you.

That (running at 48V) is one of the options I vaguely thought I remembered reading.

I could do that, as I think I have a spare functional 1204(maybe m).

Hmm, that 1204 might be base model: 250A max for 2 minutes.

Something I recently read said snow thrower motor greater than 2HP.

I have not used tiller or snow thrower much in recent years, but chipper / shredder with snow motor gets seasonal use (2 solid hours at a time, and gets warm).

Since the recent graphs showed up to 400A for traction motor, what was max for PTO motors (snow, tiller)?

Other than that, just a matter of where to fit everything in (2 batteries, larger 1268, & 'standard' size 1204).

I think it depends on how much you want to optimize things. Bear in mind
that the later ET PM motors didn't (couldn't) have field weakening.

If memory serves, and it might not as it's been many years, Mark Hanson ran
an E15 with full field and 48 volts from his own homebrew PWM armature
controller. I think he got about the same top speed as on 36 volts with
the factory field weakening. He had a second controller to drop the 48
volts to 36 volts for the attachments. If he's still on the list, maybe
he'll chime in with comments and corrections.
