That (running at 48V) is one of the options I vaguely thought I 
remembered reading.

I could do that, as I think I have a spare functional 1204(maybe m).

Hmm, that 1204 might be base model: 250A max for 2 minutes.

Something I recently read said snow thrower motor greater than 2HP.

I have not used tiller or snow thrower much in recent years, but chipper 
/ shredder with snow motor gets seasonal use (2 solid hours at a time, 
and gets warm).

Since the recent graphs showed up to 400A for traction motor, what was 
max for PTO motors (snow, tiller)?

Other than that, just a matter of where to fit everything in (2 
batteries, larger 1268, & 'standard' size 1204).
