Have you tried monitoring field and aramture current while operating your 
tractor with the factory controller?  They might not be optimal values, 
but 
could be a starting point.

One way to do this is with appropriate shunts and a couple of logging 
multimeters.  I've also set up a mobile phone to shoot video of the meters 
in similar situations.

You also might try getting in touch with Damon Crockett at Alltrax.  They 
designed the DC-300-ET controllers a long time ago - around 2000 or 2001, 
I 
think - and they must have had the motor data available then.  Maybe they 
still have it, or at least the field maps they made from it.  Whether 
they'd be willing to share it is another matter, I suppose.
