I have a vague recollection that at one time someone (Bill?) was making 
stainless steel ET mower decks.  No need to paint those.

I also seem to recall that Bill Gunn's mower decks cost something like 
$1200, 
and this would have been in the late 1990s or early 2000s.  

Or maybe that was the stainless deck's price.  

Anyone else tuned in on this stuff?
