Re: (ET) Plows suck for snow (dead blower)



I'm not sure what you have a problem with about steering, but if it is 
skidding instead of turning I pull the blower up just a bit to put more 
weight on the front wheels. 
 But I should also explain - my blower is on an 8 HP Wheel Horse tractor. 
That is the only job I use it for. I just spent over $200 to weld a new 
chain sprocket to the rotor and it does a great job.  I do have a big New 
Idea blower for my ElecTrac which I used for one year, and it did a good 
job. However, it is so big and heavy I haven't used it since that one 
year. Just too much for an 80 year old guy to handle. I haven't used a 
blade for snow since years ago when the pile got so high I couldn't get up 
to the top. The blower doesn't make piles. Erv Troyer  Lagrange, IN

helped the steering. Anybody have a bullet proof fix for the steering 
tried tightening it up with shims etc. just needs something better.
