Re: (ET) E8M Mower

Hi Dan!

Not sure what's up with Jim, may just be busy this month but he's a really good egg and an excellent source of parts and support. Another person is Harold Zimmerman, who is up in PA and has a wealth of knowledge as well.

I'd recommend you download the owner's manuals and repair manuals for these tractors and have a look at how they went together. It's possible someone put the mower lift on wrong sometime in the past (the dreaded previous owner, or DPO for short) and that might help figure your problem out for you. Likewise removing the wheels is pretty simple to do.

This list is a great source of info, but please read up on the manuals. They were written for an average 1970's tech and are pretty amazing to troubleshoot most problems.

I am trying to contact Mr. Coate who I think owns the Elec-Trak mower name.

I have an E8M mower that I need some information about so I can fix the
lift
lever that raises the mower deck. Right now it will not raise the deck.
I tried to contact you sometime back and have not received any response.

I also need to know how to take a wheel off as it needs a new tire to
replace
a non-repairable tire.

I also would like to know if you have the yellow paint in spray cans so
so I can repaint the mower.

I tried looking up the Elec-Trak name and could not find any reference to
it.

I would appreciate any help .
I look forward to hearing from you.

If you would like to send a reply by regular mail my address is

.
