RE: (ET) Oil

Title: RE: (ET) Oil

Ralph,

  Synthetic oil is the way to go. It works the best in cold weather when straight 90W turns to grease.

Ralph;

The repair manual recommends any S.A.E. E.P. 90 Lubricant.
I'm sure a synthetic would fine.

The important thing is that you jack up the rear end or park the tractor on a hill so you can get a full 2 pints through the filler hole in the back of the differential.

On level ground this is not possible.
