[Hunt03] My apology

I apologize for the message that I sent with the subject line "2004 MIT 
Mystery Hunt and Large Teams."  I wrote it over a couple of days, 
intending it only for my team.  At the last moment, I added a bunch of 
addresses to the CC: line, vaguely thinking that my comments about large 
teams might be of interest to others.

If I had reread my whole message, as I should have, I would have realized 
that several of my comments were completely inappropriate for a wider 
readership.  I am sorry that I did not do this, and I am sorry for the 
hurt that my words have caused.  In the future, I will be more careful 
about broadcasting my words without checking them first.

I also apologize for dragging others into this heated debate.  So far as I 
know, Saxifrage, Bridget Copley, Jenn Cunningham, and Sprout have 
expressed no interest in this subject, and are being bombarded about it 
only because I thoughtlessly included them in my original CC: line.  
Similarly, my team (hunt03) is not responsible for the fact that I sent 
them the original message, and should not be forced to listen to the 
resulting storm.  I will drop the above addresses from future messages on 
this topic, and ask that others in this discussion do the same.  Thank you.
