Re: (ET) blower take apart part 1: impeller



Thanks Tim! I think after looking at this that someone welded on a bolt there as some sort of a "cap" on the impeller. Unless they put the armature in a lathe, drilled a hole, and tapped it I don't see that connecting to the shaft.

I noticed there are two holes in the impeller plate to get to the motor hold down bolts. I THINK one can remove those, then lever the motor back between the rear of the impeller housing and the motor end plate to get the impeller off. I'll give that a shot.
