Re: (ET) Maryland source for t105

Tri-State Battery has locations in Gambrills, Maryland and Newark, Delaware (an hour north of Baltimore).  I don't know if they still carry Trojans but you could call them and find out.  They have always been helpful and knowledgeable whenever I've dealt with them.

Hey, wait, I thought you were the flooded Ni-Cd guy?  Or is my memory even less reliable than I thought?

I just use different size pulleys and a belt when I want to slow down a motor.  Might not be applicable to your situation.

My tow-behind leaf sweeper is powered by the wheels and is not very useful to me, only slightly better than raking by hand really.  If there's no wind a leaf-blower works better.  :(

Eventually I'll solve the problem, but leaf season's only once a year, so I haven't managed it yet.  One thing is clear:  I need a really titanically huge leaf container, or a way to shred the leaves as I gather them, or both.  My property is at the low point of a heavily wooded stream valley and the leaves pile up several feet deep against the buildings and other obstructions.  I have to empty the tow behind sweeper every two minutes or so.

Someone in MI has a snowblower with the mid-mounted motor; motor locked up, but it's still the most useful accessory in the Elec-Trak world.

Speaking of which, it's just starting to turn to fall here. Time to get out there this weekend and do the first leaf-raking. Normally I use the gas tractor with the 55 gallon drum liners in the bagger attachment, then haul the leaves to the back with the E20.

This year I'm going to give the E20 a try with the sweeper, but I still need a way to slow down that motor. Any thoughts for a quick solution?
