The golf car batteries most of us use in our ETs aren't as vorpal as those 
Hawker Genesis AGM batteries, but they're still capable of dumping over 
40kW 
into a short circuit.  That's nearly as much power as a modern home's 
electrical service is able to provide continuously.  It can heat things up 
FAST.  Treat your batteries with respect (and well-insulated tools).
