They were made following the GE drawings, but some tweaking may indeed still be needed on the holes (kinda like British sports cars...). From what I know, GE used rivets; I put new ones on with either pop rivets or machine screws depending on what else I'm doing on the tractor. With the slots, it is important to at least use large diameter (Truss) head screws. I like to put a washer under the head of the screw or rivet as it not only helps bridge any enlarged slots but also protects the finish.

I use longer fasteners for the location near the side of the headlight and add a little plastic clip on the inside end that then holds the headlight wiring away from the big resistors over the charger assembly. Someday I'll get pictures posted of details like this.
