Re: (ET) E15 motor needed

Any competent motor shop can handle that repair. With today's improved insulation products and techniques, that motor should still be around for your grandkids to use.The shops that I have been in contact with actually enjoy this type of assignment. Comments of being a well built unit, constructed of what was at that time the best commercial materials available can be expected. But, it won't be cheap. But then, neither is a replacement traction motor.

Subject: (ET) E15 motor needed

Just removed the motor on my project. It was making scraping noise
while running. After taking it off, I found that the field had
disintegrated. Where do I go from here? New motor?
   Can it be rebuilt?
