Re: (ET) E-8?

E-8 was available in two flavors. The "Heavy Duty"if you could call it that, had the same power pack arrangement as the E- 10. Six, six volt batteries. The less endowed E-8 has three twelve volt batteries. Changes between the two configurations requires only the proper cables.

Subject: (ET) E-8?

I just picked up what I thought was an E-8 as that is what is listed on the side. It has dead batteries totally flat so I need to replace those. I was going to throw in a few 12 volt just to see if it would turn on and creep around but when I started looking at the old beat up manual it shows the E-8 only having 3 6v batteries and the e-10 having 6?
