Anisotropy and Inflation

Abstract:
I will talk about possible statistical anisotropies from inflation. Inspired by WMAP data, we introduced an anisotropic inflationary scenario a few years ago. This model exhibits statistical anisotropy in the curvature perturbation. I will briefly review recent results by Planck 2013 with emphasis on the statistical anomaly on large scales. I will discuss possible implications of our model in the light of theses new data.
